Dose & Code

Field notes from a pharmacy intern building useful software.

Dose & Code / Entry

Why I Built Dose & Code

I built Dose & Code because pharmacy and software keep asking me the same question: what would become possible if we paid closer attention to the problems between the two?

The short version

I am a pharmacy intern who enjoys building useful software. I like the practical details of healthcare, the logic of code, and the space where a small technical decision can make a real workflow easier.

What I am using this site for

  • To document projects while the decisions and mistakes are still fresh.
  • To write about pharmacy problems without pretending every solution needs a large platform.
  • To become a clearer technical writer and invite useful feedback from people who build or work in healthcare.

The first project

The first detailed case study is a QR medication reminder built for Nova Pharmacy. The idea is simple: staff create a schedule, a patient scans a printed code, and the patient's own calendar handles the reminder. No app account and no patient database are required.

What comes next

Expect project case studies, pharmacy workflow notes, self-hosting lessons, and occasional writing about books, photography, and the rest of life outside the terminal. Browse the topics or follow along through RSS.

This is a personal technical journal, not medical advice. Any real medication decision belongs with the patient's pharmacist or prescriber.
